• Becoming a Member

Anyone who is interested in hunting is welcome to join.

Members must have a valid NC hunting license, be able to dedicate enough time to participate in club workdays and make a difference in the organization.

    Membership Year

Our Membership Year goes from the beginning of March through end of February.

    How Can You Join?

To join the ROA Hunt Club, there must be an open position.

Prospective Members will need to complete a questionnaire, and attend a Club Open House event.

Before any prospective member becomes an active member, they will need to be approved.

The questionnaire is found on the Contacts Page. Look for the link highlighted in blue. Please send it to us by email.

Use the Contact Us Button at the bottom of this page to go to the Contact page, for the email address.

Should there be no openings, we will put you on a waiting list.

The ROA Hunt Club does sometime advertise on local web outlets when open memberships become available.

Expectations

In no way, shape or form do we, the R.O.A Hunt Club Board or members, make any guarantees or promises related to the sport of hunting or to the harvest of any game animal.

No one at any time makes any guarantees that any person will harvest any game animal (i.e., Deer, Bird, or Predator) on our leased or permitted hunting properties.

Furthermore, our lands are parts of working farms and as such, some of the land is cultivated for crops and some for livestock.

The Board of Directors will make every attempt to work with the landowners, when it comes to the crop harvest, to help accommodate and facilitate the different hunting seasons.

Our club does not sponsor any caged hunts. We are “fair chase” and primary still hunting club.

Benefits of Joining

There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization.

We are a family friendly organization.

We have approximately 1500 Acres across 4 properties with 30+ club owned stands.

Sign out a stand, drive to the designated parking area, get in the stand and hunt. There are diverse types of hunting habitats. We have wooded, swamps, cutovers, and crop fields. The properties cater for different styles of hunting from bow to rifle and anything in between. The property and stands are easily accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles.

There are several duck blinds or hunting areas for waterfowl.

We have a shooting range, that is out to 300 + yards

Joining means that you are part of a club that works together to better our chances at harvesting and recovering game animals.
